Fergie Reunites with Black Eyed Peas at 2026 AMAs for Throwback Song Honor

Fergie made a triumphant return to the stage at the 2026 American Music Awards, joining forces once again with the Black Eyed Peas for an unexpected reunion moment.
The group came together at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Monday to accept the Best Throwback Song award. The honor recognized their hit "Rock That Body," which beat out competition from Goo Goo Dolls' "Iris" and 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up" in the category. Both competing artists were present at the ceremony to celebrate their respective tracks, all of which have experienced renewed popularity through TikTok and social media platforms.
Fergie took the opportunity during her acceptance remarks to give a special shout-out to her 12-year-old son Axl, whom she shares with ex-husband Josh Duhamel. The former frontwoman shared the stage with will.i.am, apl.de.ap, and Taboo as the group collected their award.
The 2026 AMAs broadcast live on CBS and is being hosted by Queen Latifah, marking her return to the hosting duties more than 30 years after her previous time in the role. Taylor Swift leads the night's nominations with eight total nods across various categories.
