Two of Hollywood's most celebrated performers crossed paths this week at a Manhattan theater. Jessica Lange and Susan Sarandon, reuniting following their 2017 collaboration on the television series Feud – Bette and Joan, attended a Wednesday evening showing of the Off-Broadway production Kenrex on April 29 in New York City.

The pair made their way backstage after the curtain fell to meet with the play's star and co-writer Jack Holden, along with composer John Patrick Elliott.

Kenrex has earned significant buzz since its recent arrival stateside. The production, described as a "blistering true-crime thriller about the thin line between justice served and justice taken," features Holden navigating 35 different characters throughout the evening, all set to a high-energy Americana-influenced score. The actor's transformative performance and the play's sound design earned recognition at the Olivier Awards, with the production taking home honors in both categories following three sold-out London engagements.

Now running at the Lucille Lortel Theatre in downtown New York, the limited engagement is scheduled through June 27. The play also received six Olivier Award nominations overall.

Lange and Sarandon previously shared the screen in Feud – Bette and Joan, where they portrayed Joan Crawford and Bette Davis respectively during the tumultuous production of the 1962 film What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? The series remains available for streaming on Hulu.
