Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash Return in 'Vought Rising' Spinoff Teaser

Prime Video has unveiled the first teaser footage for Vought Rising, the highly anticipated prequel series set within The Boys universe.

The clip introduces Jensen Ackles and Aya Cash, both returning to their roles from the original series while also serving as producers on the project. Mason Dye likewise reprises his character from The Boys in the spinoff.

The teaser delivers the visceral, blood-soaked tone that has defined the franchise, setting up what's described as a twisted murder mystery centered on the founding mythology of Vought International. The footage hints at the backstory of Soldier Boy and the character known to audiences as Stormfront, who operated under her birth name, Clara Vought.

Executive producer Eric Kripke and showrunner Paul Grellong previously described the series as exploring "the early exploits of Soldier Boy, and the diabolical maneuvers of a Supe known to fans as Stormfront, who was then going by the name Clara Vought. We cannot wait to blow your minds and trouble your souls with this salacious, grisly saga drenched in blood and Compound V."

The spinoff is scheduled to arrive on Prime Video in 2027. Earlier this year, Cash received support from several of her Vought Rising castmates at the Broadway premiere of her show Giant.
