Fox Releases First Look at 'Baywatch' Reboot Series

The first official teaser for Fox's Baywatch reboot has arrived. On Saturday, May 23, actor Stephen Amell unveiled the preview clip via Instagram, accompanying it with the caption "I dream in slow motion."

The brief teaser gives audiences their first look at Amell alongside fellow cast members Brooks Nader, Livvy Dunne, and Jessica Belkin decked out in the franchise's signature red swimwear. The footage teases "Same beach. New blood" as its tagline.

According to the show's premise, Hobie Buchannon—the beloved troublemaker from the original series—has ascended to become a Baywatch captain, following his father Mitch's legendary tenure. His life takes an unexpected turn when Charlie, a daughter he never knew existed, arrives seeking to join the ranks as a lifeguard and honor the Buchannon family tradition.

The reboot also features Cody Madison, the original series heartthrob, now operating The Shoreline, an informal Baywatch hangout spot. Madison balances running the establishment with occasional lifeguard duty, serving as both mentor and friend to the team while becoming known for complimentary wings following successful rescues.

The series is scheduled to launch on Fox in January 2027, with episodes also streaming on Hulu.
