George and Amal Clooney Bring Star Power to The King's Trust 50th Anniversary in London

George and Amal Clooney made their mark on the red carpet in London this week, arriving at a major milestone celebration for a royal charity.
The pair attended The King's Trust 50th Anniversary Celebration on Monday, May 11, at the Royal Albert Hall. The event, hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla, drew a constellation of entertainment and cultural figures from across the globe.
The 65-year-old actor kept things classic in a navy suit and sunglasses, while his 48-year-old wife, a human rights lawyer, commanded attention in a reflective gold gown designed by Alexander McQueen.
The guest list reflected the occasion's prominence. Attendees included Idris Elba, Lily Collins alongside her husband Charlie McDowell, Rita Ora, David Oyelowo with his wife Jessica, Emily in Paris star Lucien Laviscount, former British Vogue Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful, makeup entrepreneur Charlotte Tilbury, and legendary musician Rod Stewart.
Founded in 1976 when King Charles held the title of Prince of Wales, The King's Trust began as a support network for disadvantaged youth across the United Kingdom. The organization has since expanded dramatically, now operating in 25 countries and having delivered education, employability, and entrepreneurship initiatives to more than one million young people. Recent growth has taken the charity to the United States, where it now serves youth in New York, Chicago, Orlando, San Jose, and Detroit.
The celebration in London followed The King's Trust 5th Annual Gala in New York City, which took place last month and also drew considerable celebrity attendance.
