Gillian Anderson and Hannah Einbinder brought their latest film to the French Riviera this week, gracing the red carpet at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival for the premiere of their new horror project.

The pair attended the Wednesday evening premiere of Teenage Sex & Death at Camp Miasma on May 13 in Cannes, joined by the film's writer-director Jane Schoenbrun and co-star Jack Haven. Schoenbrun, known for helming the feature I Saw the TV Glow—which also featured Haven—brought her distinctive vision to the latest offering.

The film centers on a reboot of the notorious Camp Miasma slasher franchise. The story takes a twisted turn when the rebooted movie's director becomes fixated on tracking down the enigmatic, reclusive actress who originated the role of the "final girl" in the original film, ultimately unleashing a fresh breed of horror that emerges from the lake's depths.

The project earned distinction as the opening selection for the Un Certain Regard lineup at the festival, one of the competition's most prestigious categories.

On the fashion front, Anderson commanded attention in a Miu Miu gown paired with Chaumet jewelry for the evening event. Einbinder opted for an elegant Celine dress.

The ensemble had already made an appearance earlier in the day, participating in a photo call and press conference Wednesday morning. For the daytime appearance, Anderson wore Miu Miu and Chaumet jewelry, while Einbinder selected a piece by Alaia.
