Lady Gaga Contributes Three Original Songs to The Devil Wears Prada 2 Soundtrack

Lady Gaga is part of the much-anticipated sequel to The Devil Wears Prada, appearing on screen as herself while also lending her artistry to the film's musical landscape.
The pop icon has penned three new original compositions for the movie. "Shape of a Woman" features Gaga's vocals during a scene in the film itself, while "Runway" and "Glamorous Life" accompany the end credits.
The power ballad "Glamorous Life" showcases Gaga's signature vocal prowess. The track's chorus finds her singing about internal conflict and ambition, exploring themes of authenticity and determination in a world of facades.
In a recent appearance on the UK radio program Heart Breakfast, Meryl Streep disclosed the behind-the-scenes story of how Gaga joined the project. Streep explained that she took the initiative to reach out, calling the artist while dining in Islington with Tracy. "I thought, I might as well try her. I just said, 'Would you do this? Because it's going to be really good,'" Streep recounted, adding that Gaga agreed immediately.
Streep noted the impressive timing of Gaga's involvement, mentioning that the singer was juggling her year-long world tour, which drew crowds of 75,000 people per stadium show, yet still made time to participate in the film.
