Fox has pulled the plug on 'Going Dutch' and will not be developing the comedy for a third season.

The network announced the cancellation on Monday, May 4, according to Variety. The series, which debuted in 2025, ran for two seasons before concluding with its final episode on April 23.

The ensemble cast included Denis Leary, Taylor Misiak, Danny Pudi, Laci Mosely, Hal Cumpston, Joe Morton, Catherine Tate, and Kristen Johnston.

About the Show

'Going Dutch' centered on U.S. Army Colonel Patrick Quinn, an outspoken and brash commanding officer portrayed by Leary. Following an unfiltered outburst, Quinn faces reassignment to the Netherlands and a posting at the most unconventional military base imaginable—one distinguished by its Michelin-starred dining facility, premium bowling lanes, lavender-scented laundry services, and the armed forces' sole fromagerie. Tasked with restoring order among a colorful crew of military personnel, Quinn works alongside the base's former interim commander, who is revealed to be his estranged daughter, played by Misiak.

Why the Cancellation?

Fox did not formally explain the decision to end the series. However, Variety noted that the network has increasingly deprioritized scripted content in favor of unscripted programming and game show formats in recent years.
