Greta Lee Shares How Taylor Swift Personally Invited Her to Star in 'Opalite' Music Video

Greta Lee is discussing her collaboration with Taylor Swift and suggesting that the pop icon's behind-the-scenes creative vision could prove even more ambitious than the public realizes.

Speaking with Harper's Bazaar UK for their July/August cover story, the actress detailed how she landed a spot in Taylor's "Opalite" music video. The two first met while taping an appearance on The Graham Norton Show in October, an encounter that sparked an unexpected professional opportunity.

"We had a blast and hung out after the taping with her parents and brother," Greta explained. "We were texting back and forth afterwards, and then she left me an audio message asking if I would be interested in being in the video. I was like, 'What? Yeah, yeah, yeah!' And then it all came together."

The Past Lives star went on to express her belief that Swift's directorial work may be heading in a larger direction. "I get the sense that this is just the warm-up," Greta shared. "I've asked her, 'when's your full-length feature coming out?'"

In other news, Greta is preparing for the release of The Last House, a sci-fi thriller coming to Netflix later this year. The film, which co-stars Wagner Moura, follows a family of four facing a harrowing situation—confined to their home with limited supplies and an unknown danger lurking outside. Netflix has already unveiled the project's first trailer.
