Henry Cavill Takes Time for Fans During Highlander Filming in Poland

The 43-year-old actor stepped away from his work on the highly anticipated Highlander reboot to greet admirers on Thursday, May 14, in Lodz, Poland. Remaining in full costume—complete with a brown leather jacket and black pants—Cavill engaged with onlookers who gathered to observe the production, offering autographs, posing for photos, and spending time chatting with the crowd.
Cavill is taking on the role of immortal warrior Connor MacLeod in the film, which is being helmed by director Chad Stahelski. The ensemble cast features Karen Gillian, Dave Bautista, Russell Crowe, Marisa Abela, Max Zhang, and Djimon Hounsou.
The original Highlander film debuted in 1986, introducing audiences to immortal beings locked in combat to gain greater strength. The franchise expanded significantly over the decades, spawning four sequels and three television series.
Filming on the reboot commenced later than originally planned. The production schedule had been adjusted by several months following a pre-production injury that Cavill sustained during preparation.
Looking ahead, Cavill will appear alongside Jake Gyllenhaal and Eiza Gonzalez in director Guy Ritchie's heist thriller In the Grey, arriving in theaters on May 15.
