Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci Are Actually Family—Here's How

Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci's connection runs deeper than their on-screen chemistry in 2006's The Devil Wears Prada—they're genuinely family.
The British actress is actually the sister-in-law of the acclaimed actor, who married Blunt's older sister Felicity. The pair's relationship began after a significant loss: Stanley's first wife, Kate Spath-Tucci, died of cancer in 2009. Emily later introduced him to her sister, and the two reconnected at Emily and John Krasinski's wedding in 2010.
During an appearance on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs podcast, Stanley opened up about the early uncertainty in his relationship with Felicity. "I was afraid to get into a relationship and I kept trying to break it off because I am 21 years older than she is and I didn't want to feel old for the rest of my life," he explained. "But I knew this was an incredibly special person."
The couple married in 2012 and went on to have two children together: son Matteo, now 11, and daughter Emilia, 8. Stanley also has three adult children from his first marriage.
Stanley has spoken warmly about Felicity's role in his life and his family's journey. "Felicity has been so incredible taking on a widower and three children whose mother died. That's a huge thing, at a very young age too," he said. "If anybody made things better for all of us, it's her. She's the one."
The family gathered together to celebrate when Stanley and Emily received their stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
