Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein Headline Netflix Upfront for Upcoming 'Office Romance' Film

Jennifer Lopez and her co-star Brett Goldstein took center stage at Netflix's Upfront event Wednesday afternoon, bringing attention to their forthcoming romantic comedy ahead of its streaming debut.

The pair appeared at the Netflix gathering held at Sunset Pier 94 Studios in New York City on May 13, with Lopez turning heads in a form-fitting dress that showcased her signature style. She later changed into an open suit for her departure from the venue.

In the film, Lopez embodies a commanding CEO while Goldstein plays a newly hired lawyer for her airline. Their characters' secret romance blossoms as two driven professionals abandon their rigid approach to life and embrace their feelings.

During her time at the event, Lopez spoke enthusiastically about her working relationship with Goldstein. "We had great chemistry to begin with," she shared with People. "It just grew as we did the film together."

Lopez also revealed she'd had preconceived notions about her co-star before production began. "I expected more of a rough guy, but you get this kind, gentle but also very smart person that is so charming. That was a surprise, I think," she explained. "I was a huge fan of his from him doing Ted Lasso. Roy Kent, that's one of my favorite characters. I thought he was going to be more like the character, but he was so soft-spoken and sweet and totally different."

Director Ol Parker helmed the project, which features an extensive ensemble cast including Betty Gilpin, Amy Sedaris, Jodie Whittaker, Mary Wiseman, Tony Hale, Bradley Whitford, and Edward James Olmos. The supporting cast also features Tony Plana, Roger Bart, Rick Hoffman, Jackie Sandler, Michelle Hurd, Ali Stroker, Lisa Gilroy, Will Sasso, Donald Elise Watkins, Natalie Ortega, Brian Gallivan, Scott Seiss, and Mo Welch.

'Office Romance' arrives on Netflix June 5, 2026.
