Jesse Williams and Wife Alejandra Onieva Expecting a Child

Jesse Williams is set to expand his family. The 44-year-old Grey's Anatomy actor's spouse, Alejandra Onieva, announced she is expecting through an Instagram post shared earlier this week.

The couple was spotted out in Los Angeles over the weekend, with Onieva photographed running errands at a grocery store before reconnecting with Williams for lunch on Friday, May 22.

How the couple met

Williams and Onieva's connection began on the set of Hotel Costiera, a Prime Video series where both actors worked together. Their relationship went public just weeks prior to the show's September 2025 debut, when they were photographed holding hands and sharing kisses while strolling through Milan, Italy. The pair attended the premiere in Rome shortly after, marking another high-profile appearance together as the series became available to stream.

Williams' previous family

The actor shares two children with his former wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, from whom he separated in 2017. Their divorce proceedings extended over several years. Before connecting with Williams, Onieva had been linked to a prominent Marvel actor between 2020 and 2021.
