Jessica Belkin Tends to Injured Co-Star During Baywatch Reboot Filming

Cameras captured a dramatic moment on the Venice Beach set of the forthcoming Baywatch reboot when actress Jessica Belkin sprang into action on Friday, May 1.
The 23-year-old performer rushed into the ocean to assist John Beckwith, who was portraying a surfer and had sustained a cut to his abdomen during filming. Once Belkin helped him back to shore, she provided aid as Beckwith sat on the sand.
The production day drew several cast members to the California location. Shay Mitchell and Hassie Harrison, both series regulars, were present on set alongside recurring guest star Luke Eisner.
The new iteration of Baywatch follows Hobie Buchannon, the spirited character from the original series, who now serves as captain of the lifeguard station. When his previously unknown daughter Charlie arrives seeking to join the team and honor the Buchannon family legacy, his world shifts dramatically. Meanwhile, former heartthrob Cody Madison operates The Shoreline, an informal Baywatch hangout, while continuing to pull rescue duty in his iconic red trunks. Madison serves as both mentor and friend to the lifeguard crew, offering camaraderie and complimentary wings following successful rescues.
The series is set to premiere on Fox during the 2026-2027 television season.
