Jessica Chastain Debuts Platinum Blonde Look While Filming 'The Off Weeks' with Ben Stiller in New York

Jessica Chastain and Ben Stiller continue production on their highly anticipated Apple TV series, with the pair spotted on set in New York City on Thursday afternoon (May 7).

The 49-year-old Academy Award-winning actress turned heads with her new platinum blonde hair as she and the 60-year-old Emmy-honored actor filmed scenes for the upcoming drama. The production also featured fellow cast members Kate Burton and Arian Moayed, who were captured shooting what looked to be a funeral sequence outside a church.

About the Series

The Off Weeks centers on Gus Adler, a writing professor whose world unravels following a divorce. While managing his responsibilities during custody weeks with his children, Gus finds himself increasingly drawn to Stella West, an enigmatic woman whose presence threatens to upend both his parental obligations and his personal desires during his free weeks, setting the two worlds on an irreversible collision course.

Beyond Chastain and Stiller, the ensemble cast rounds out with Richard Gere, Annaleigh Ashford, and John Cho. Michael Showalert will helm the project as director and executive producer, while Alissa Nutting serves as showrunner. Both Chastain and Stiller are also attached as executive producers on the series.

Chastain recently provided an update regarding another of her Apple TV projects, The Savant, an investigative thriller that was originally scheduled to premiere in September but was removed from the schedule.
