Jimmie Allen Hit With Nearly $1.8 Million Judgment in Sexual Assault Case

Country music artist Jimmie Allen faces a significant financial judgment stemming from a sexual assault lawsuit. On Thursday, June 18, a federal judge ruled that the 41-year-old must pay nearly $1.8 million to a woman identified as Jane Doe 2, who filed a civil suit against him in June 2023.

Court documents show the default judgment was entered after Allen failed to respond to the legal action. The ruling addresses allegations of assault, invasion of privacy, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

The monetary award breaks down to approximately $597,000 in compensatory damages and roughly $1.2 million in punitive damages.

In the court's decision, the judge characterized the "reprehensibility" of Allen's alleged conduct as "severe." The documents detail specific allegations, stating that Allen "intentionally and surreptitiously filmed his sexual encounter with plaintiff without her consent, and that he ejaculated inside of plaintiff without wearing a condom when plaintiff did not consent to him doing so and asked him not to do so."

According to the ruling, these actions resulted in extreme emotional distress and trauma for the plaintiff.

This case represents one of two civil sexual assault lawsuits brought against Allen in 2023. A separate suit filed by his former manager, identified as Jane Doe, was dismissed in May 2024 after both parties reached a settlement described by her legal team as a "mutual accord."

Allen's personal life also underwent significant changes during this period, with his divorce from wife Alexis Gale being finalized in October 2024.
