Jisoo Arrives at Met Gala 2026 in Elegant Dior Gown

The 31-year-old BLACKPINK member stepped onto the Met Gala red carpet for the first time, marking a major milestone in her fashion journey. The event unfolded at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday, May 4.
For her debut appearance, Jisoo selected a striking pink Dior creation—a strapless column silhouette crafted from draped gazar. The gown showcased intricate embroidery depicting a garden scene, accented with floral bouquets along the hemline. A coordinating headpiece featuring fabric flower embroidery completed the look, paired with a one-of-a-kind Cartier Grain de Café necklace that served as the perfect finishing touch.
According to Vogue, Dior's design draws inspiration from Impressionism, a motif the storied fashion house regularly explores—as evidenced by Jonathan Anderson's Monet-inspired collection from the previous season.
With Jisoo's arrival, BLACKPINK has now achieved a collective milestone: all four members have graced the Met Gala carpet. Her bandmate Lisa also made an appearance this year in a striking ensemble inspired by Thai dance, which incorporated innovative 3D scanning technology applied to her arms.
This year's Met Gala celebrates the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Art exhibition, which examines "the 'centrality of the dressed body' through depictions and interpretations of the human form in the Met's extensive collection." The theme, "Fashion is Art," guided attendees' sartorial choices. The event's co-chairs include Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, underscoring the gala's position as fashion's most prestigious annual gathering.
