Jisoo Honored With Rising Star Award at Canneseries International Festival
Jisoo is making her mark on the acting world. The 31-year-old K-pop powerhouse graced the 2026 Canneseries International Festival in Cannes, France on Friday, April 24, where she attended a photo call the day after being presented with the prestigious Madame Figaro Rising Star Award.
During her acceptance remarks, the BLACKPINK member reflected on her evolving career trajectory. "I've been trying to show different sides of myself through various projects, so it truly means a lot to receive such a wonderful award and your support," she expressed. "I've had the chance to learn many new things and received so much help from so many people on so many projects. Every step of that journey has given me the strength to keep moving forward."
She continued by extending gratitude to the festival and the publication recognizing her achievement. "I would like to sincerely thank Canneseries and Madame Figaro for this meaningful award. And to my fans who always support and love me, as well as my fellow BLACKPINK members who are always by my side, thank you and I love you."
This latest accolade adds to her growing list of acting honors. In 2022, she earned Best Actress in a Series at the Acervo Awards for her performance in the series Snowdrop.
