Joey King Hosts Miu Miu Select Launch at NYC Flagship Store

Joey King is making her mark on the New York fashion scene for a second consecutive week. Just days after walking the red carpet at the Met Gala alongside Miu Miu, the 26-year-old actress returned to the city to take on a new role with the Italian luxury brand.

On Monday, May 11, King hosted a launch event at Miu Miu's 57th Street flagship store to unveil her curated selections for the brand's Select initiative. The collection features her handpicked picks from the new season's ready-to-wear, accessories, footwear, jewelry, and eyewear offerings. During the event, King signed hand-sewn tags that were attached to purchases, making each item a special keepsake for shoppers.

The actress's selections will remain available for a limited time at the flagship location. Miu Miu's Select program invites brand ambassadors to assemble highly personalized collections that reflect their individual style and preferences.

King used the occasion to reconnect with AnnaSophia Robb, her longtime friend and co-star from the Hulu limited series The Act. The pair's friendship has remained close over the years, with Robb previously reflecting on their bond when both of their Netflix films—King's Uglies and Robb's Rebel Ridge—debuted around the same time in 2024.

"Joey is one of my closest friends, and I love her so much," Robb shared in an interview at that time. "When I saw that both of us were on the Netflix billboard, I was like, 'Woohoo! This is a cool experience.' These moments are kind of unusual, and I just looked at it for a while and thought, Wow, this is really special. I'm so proud of her. It's a special industry."

King joins an impressive roster of celebrities participating in the Miu Miu Select program, alongside names including Gigi Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, Cailee Spaeny, Alexa Chung, Coco Gauff, and Georgia May Jagger.
