John Cena Undergoes Second Hair Transplant Procedure

John Cena is opening up about his latest cosmetic procedure by sharing behind-the-scenes moments with his followers.

The 49-year-old entertainer posted an image on Facebook showing himself with a freshly shaved head on the day he underwent his second FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction) hair transplant treatment. "Round 2 of FUE Treatement and this time I went all in for best possible results. Thank you Ken Anderson and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for accompanying me on this journey!" he wrote alongside the photo.

This marks Cena's second time undergoing the procedure. A couple of years prior, he had his first hair transplant after recognizing signs of hair loss.

In previous interviews, Cena has been candid about what prompted him to seek treatment. "As I was trying to hide my hair loss, the audience was bringing it to light," he told People magazine. Fans at events held up signs referencing "The bald John Cena," which inspired him to explore his options.

The actor and former wrestler now maintains a comprehensive hair care regimen that includes red-light therapy, minoxidil, vitamins, specialized shampoo, and conditioner, in addition to his transplant work. He had his first procedure done in November of the previous year.

Cena has been vocal about destigmatizing hair loss treatments. "I hate the fact that if there wasn't so much shame around it, I'd have gotten it done 10 years ago," he reflected. "I thought I was alone, but seven or eight out of 10 [men] suffer from thinning or baldness."

He explained the mechanics of the procedure straightforwardly: "They don't do anything except move your hair, one by one, from one area to another."

The transformation has had a meaningful impact on his career trajectory. "A different hairstyle can identify a part that can get me more work, do the thing I love to do," Cena noted. "If somebody's going to sweat me for that, I don't think there's any shame in that. It completely changed the course of my life."
