John Stamos Honors Bob Saget on What Would Have Been His 70th Birthday

John Stamos is honoring what would have been his longtime friend Bob Saget's 70th birthday.

The 62-year-old actor turned to Instagram on Sunday, May 17, to commemorate the milestone occasion for his Full House castmate. Stamos shared a collection of photos and videos spanning their years together, with the final image being the last photograph they took as a pair.

"We used to throw each other great birthday parties. Your 70th today would've been epic! I miss you and love you," Stamos wrote alongside the tribute.

The closing slide featured a group photo that included Stamos, his wife Caitlin McHugh, and Saget's widow Kelly Rizzo. Stamos captioned this final image with "last pic."

Fellow Full House cast member Candace Cameron Bure responded to the post with three red heart emojis.

In December 2023, Stamos shared another cherished photograph from their final times together—a Full House family portrait taken in front of the Painted Lady house in San Francisco, the iconic exterior used for the show. That image included Stamos, Saget, Cameron Bure, Dave Coulier, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber.

Saget passed away in early 2022 after being discovered in his hotel room in Orlando. He died from injuries sustained after a fall in which he struck his head.
