The cast of Club Kid brought celebratory energy to the French Riviera on Friday as they gathered to promote their upcoming film at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.

Jordan Firstman and Diego Calva exchanged a lighthearted kiss during the photocall for the project, held at Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France on May 15. The moment captured the camaraderie between the two leads as they worked the event alongside fellow cast members Cara Delevingne and newcomer Reggie Absolom.

The film, set in New York City, centers on an aging underground party promoter whose circumstances shift dramatically when he discovers he has a son he never knew existed. Firstman not only stars in the picture but also directs and writes it, marking his feature directorial debut.

In discussing the project with IndieWire, Firstman reflected on the deeper themes woven throughout the narrative. "Even when you strip back the surface layer of the drugs and the afters going on all weekend, beneath it is a bunch of queer people who are funny and sensitive and broken in some ways and artistic and just fully whole," he shared. "That's what I wanted to show."

The film has not yet announced a theatrical release date. At the photocall, Firstman wore Prada, Calva was dressed in Isabel Marant, and Delevingne opted for a Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann suit.
