Josh Allen Reveals the Beard Habit That Playfully Irritates Wife Hailee Steinfeld

Josh Allen is discussing the lighter side of married life with actress Hailee Steinfeld, sharing details about a cheeky habit that never fails to provoke a reaction.

The 30-year-old Bills quarterback sat down for an appearance on the Centered on Buffalo podcast, where he confessed to a quirky behavior involving his facial hair that gets under his wife's skin.

"Anytime she tries to, like, if I got something in my beard or my mustache and she goes to reach for it I always, like, bark and snap," he revealed during the episode that aired Wednesday, May 20.

The playful antic traces back to his formative years. Allen explained that his father employed the same trick when Allen and his siblings were young. "We'd be little kids touching the whiskers on his face and he'd be like argh, you know? So every time I do that, it gets her every single time and I can't not do it. It's like, it's there for the taking and I have to take it," he said.

When the podcast host Eric posed a follow-up question about whether Steinfeld does anything that bothers Allen, the quarterback offered a swift and decidedly devoted response. "Absolutely nothing, Eric. What are you trying to do here? What are you trying to do to me?"
