Private Messages Between Josh Duggar and Wife Anna Surface From His Time in Detention

Explicit text exchanges between Josh Duggar and his wife Anna have emerged from his time in custody at Washington County Detention Center in Arkansas.
The 38-year-old is serving a 151-month federal prison sentence following his conviction on charges related to child sexual abuse materials. During his detention, he sent numerous intimate messages to Anna, 37, including requests for photos and suggestive comments about her appearance.
In messages obtained by People, Duggar wrote about missing physical intimacy with his wife, stating he longed for moments like showering together and watching her try on clothes. He encouraged Anna to purchase revealing swimwear and low-cut clothing as summer approached, and complimented her on weight loss.
The former reality television personality also requested that Anna send him pictures, expressing gratitude for images she shared. He suggested various activities they could do together upon his release, ranging from massages to other intimate encounters.
One lengthy message saw Duggar expressing his feelings in romantic terms, calling Anna his "precious, lovely bride," "lover," "passion," and "dream girl," while describing the intensity of their connection and thanking her for being his.
The bulk of these messages were sent during the same period in which Duggar was convicted on the CSAM charges. Just days before his sentencing, he outlined ideas for activities they could pursue together, mentioning relaxing activities followed by more intimate time.
The disclosure of these private communications comes after other alleged prison messages from Duggar to his mother, Michelle, also surfaced earlier in the week.
