The 83-year-old co-host of 'The View' is heading across the Atlantic for an extended theatrical engagement.

During a recent episode of the show's companion podcast, Behind the Table, producer Brian Teta announced that Joy Behar would be absent from the daytime talk show for several weeks. The longtime panelist confirmed the news, noting that she had pre-recorded weekend episodes before her departure.

Behar revealed her travel plans during the conversation, explaining that she would fly to Paris this week before making her way to London via the Channel Tunnel. She'll spend two weeks in the British capital performing in the play "My First Ex-Husband" at the Boulevard Theatre in the West End.

The production features Behar and Jackie Hoffman as two American women, alongside two British actresses in the cast. "Doesn't that sound like fun?" Behar said of the theatrical venture.

In her absence, the show will bring in guest hosts to cover her seat at the table. Kara Swisher and Sheryl Underwood are among those confirmed to fill in during the hiatus. Teta added with humor that Whoopi Goldberg would also be making appearances on Fridays, joking that he'd need to inform the veteran co-host about the arrangement.

Official dates for the London run of "My First Ex-Husband" are expected to be announced soon.
