Justin Theroux on Fatherhood: 'It's the Most Wonderful Thing That's Ever Happened to Me'

Justin Theroux is riding high on new fatherhood.

The 54-year-old actor stepped onto the red carpet at Monday's New York City premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 alongside his wife Nicole Brydon Bloom. The event represented the couple's first evening out together since announcing the arrival of their baby boy via Instagram the previous Friday.

During interviews at the premiere, Theroux couldn't contain his enthusiasm about his new role as a parent. "It's so hard to even encapsulate what it feels like," he told E! News. "But it's the most wonderful thing that's ever happened to me. I can't think of anything that tops it."

The actor revealed that he and Bloom are so devoted to their infant son that they're eager to leave the festivities behind. "Soon as the credits roll, I'm out," he quipped to reporters.

When asked about managing sleep deprivation with a newborn, Theroux acknowledged the adjustment while giving credit to his partner. "I'm getting some sleep," he said, crediting his "fabulous wife" for helping navigate the demanding early days. "She's got the hardest job right now," added the Leftovers alum.

The new parents have already received well-wishes from Theroux's former co-star Jennifer Aniston, who publicly expressed her support for the expanding family.
