Katharine McPhee Fires Back at Chrishell Stause Criticism With Defiant TikTok Video

Katharine McPhee has taken to social media to address mounting criticism from Selling Sunset's Chrishell Stause, posting a pointed TikTok video that appears to signal she's unbothered by the backlash.
The tension began when Chrishell left comments on social media responding to a TikTok influencer's video examining Katharine's dating history and her backing of Spencer Pratt in the Los Angeles mayoral race. Chrishell wrote, "One day she will find her real inner confidence but it won't come until after she is disgarded enough times by the problematic men she backs. An insecure woman will steal your man, and give the worst advice."
When the comment gained traction online, Chrishell elaborated her position on Threads, stating, "It's so annoying that the article doesn't include what I was even responding to. But if you are in these streets campaigning for Trump backed Pratt, yeah I'm gonna eye roll your advice on men Katherine."
Katharine had recently performed at a fundraiser for Pratt's mayoral campaign, where she sang "Simply the Best" with lyrics reimagined to celebrate the reality star's bid for office.
Rather than engage directly with the criticism, Katharine initially appeared confused by the controversy. Now, however, she's sending a clear message through her latest video.
On Sunday, May 24, during her appearance at a concert fundraiser benefiting Altadena Music Theatre's recovery efforts following the Eaton Fire in California, Katharine posted a new TikTok and Instagram video. In the clip, she lip-syncs to Megan Thee Stallion's track "Her," opening with the lyrics, "I don't care if these bitches don't like me / 'Cause, like, I'm pretty as f–k."
The move marks a shift from her initial measured response to the escalating online drama.
