The 30-year-old model and reality star commanded attention at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 4, as she arrived for the 2026 Met Gala in New York City.

Jenner's showstopping gown came courtesy of Zac Posen, designer, EVP, and Creative Director of GAP INC., who drew inspiration from the Winged Victory of Samothrace—also known as Nike of Samothrace—the ancient Greek sculpture depicting the goddess of victory that greets visitors at the Louvre.

Posen revealed the creative process behind the dress to Vogue: "I took a Gap white T-shirt off of my back in my studio and started pulling it and tweaking it and figuring out how—in a contemporary way, in a glamorous way—to interpret the sculpture that influenced humanity and our modern culture."

Jenner expressed her enthusiasm about collaborating with the designer. "It's been really cool to see him work. I can see his wheels turning, which is such a treat for me. I love being a part of every step of the process," she said.

Posen accompanied Jenner to the event as her date for the evening.

This year's Met Gala celebrates the Met's Costume Art exhibition, which examines "the centrality of the dressed body" through representations and interpretations of the human form from the museum's collection. The evening's dress code centers on "Fashion is Art," with co-chairs including Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
