Kim Kardashian Makes Broadway Producing Debut, Attends 'The Fear of 13' Performance

Kim Kardashian stepped into Broadway producing with her attendance at a Sunday afternoon performance of The Fear of 13 in New York City on May 3.
The 45-year-old reality star and entrepreneur brought family members to the outing, with her mother Kris Jenner and sister Kylie Jenner in attendance. Kylie arrived alongside her boyfriend Timothee Chalamet.
Adrien Brody headlines the production, playing the lead role of Nick Yarris. Brody and Chalamet previously crossed paths on the awards circuit, both receiving Best Actor nominations for their performances in The Brutalist and A Complete Unknown, respectively. Brody ultimately took home the Oscar in that category.
The Fear of 13 tells the true story of Yarris, who spent over two decades incarcerated on death row for a murder he maintains he did not commit. The narrative unfolds through prison conversations between Yarris and Jackie, a volunteer portrayed by Tessa Thompson. As their dialogue progresses, the boundaries between observer and participant become increasingly blurred, exploring themes of justice, belief, and the distinction between genuine freedom and perceived autonomy.
Kardashian announced her role as a producer on April 13, positioning the project as an extension of her ongoing criminal justice reform efforts. Yarris was the first person sentenced to death in Pennsylvania to be exonerated through DNA evidence.
"My commitment to criminal justice reform has always been about more than just policy – it's about people," Kardashian stated. "I've learned that sometimes the most effective way to change minds is through a powerful story. The Fear of 13 is that story. It's a raw, honest look at Nick Yarris's wrongful conviction and the systemic failures that kept him behind bars for twenty years. I couldn't be prouder to make my Broadway producing debut with a project that carries such vital weight."
For the theater outing, Kardashian selected a vintage piece from John Galliano's 1997 Dior collection.
The production runs through July 12.
