Kit Connor and Joe Locke Debut First Look Photos for 'Heartstopper Forever' Film

Netflix is rolling out the first glimpses of its upcoming Heartstopper finale film, sharing promotional photos featuring leads Kit Connor and Joe Locke.

The streamer announced the project with the caption "SAY HI TO HEARTSTOPPER SUMMER," releasing images of both actors. Additional solo shots of Connor and Locke followed shortly after.

Beyond their on-screen roles, both performers are taking on executive producer duties for the movie, marking a deeper involvement in bringing the beloved series to its conclusion.

What to Expect

The finale film follows Nick and Charlie as they confront the reality of impending separation. As Nick prepares for university and Charlie embraces independence at school, the couple must grapple with the complexities of maintaining their relationship across distance. Uncertainty creeps in, testing their bond like never before.

The story extends beyond the central couple, with supporting characters also facing their own romantic and personal crossroads. The narrative centers on the bittersweet nature of youth transitions, asking whether first loves can truly endure.

Connor reflected on the project in a statement: "These characters have meant a lot to us over the years. As EPs, it feels like we can really say goodbye to them in a way that feels the most right. It is bittersweet, but it is also a really nice way of ending it."

Locke shared similar sentiments, saying: "This show has meant so much to me in my life. I'll always carry that with me."

Release Details

Connor and Locke will reprise their roles as Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring, respectively. The film arrives on Netflix on July 17th.
