Criterion Collection Announces 'KPop Demon Hunters' Physical Media Release for December 2026

Criterion Collection has set its sights on Netflix's breakout animated musical 'KPop Demon Hunters,' announcing a physical media release for the end of the year.

The film will arrive in multiple formats on December 31, 2026. Fans can currently pre-order the standard Blu-ray edition for $39.95, the DVD version at $29.95, or splurge on the 4K release for $49.95 through Amazon.

Amazon's pre-order price guarantee means shoppers will receive the lowest price the retailer offers between the time of purchase and the release date, providing a safety net for early adopters who might see costs drop.

Nearly a year after its Netflix debut, 'KPop Demon Hunters' continues to generate momentum. The film recently earned four honors at the American Music Awards and has spawned plans for a global concert tour. Netflix is also developing a follow-up film to capitalize on the original's success.

Details about exclusive bonus content for the Criterion Collection edition have not yet been revealed.
