Bad Bunny and Kris Jenner's Met Gala Encounter Sparks Viral Moment

A candid moment between Bad Bunny and Kris Jenner at the 2026 Met Gala has captured the internet's attention. The 32-year-old Puerto Rican artist, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, approached the 70-year-old Kardashian matriarch on the event's carpet for a greeting. Their interaction consisted of a one-armed side hug before they each moved on, with Kim Kardashian subsequently exchanging pleasantries with the performer.

The clip, which circulated widely on social media platforms including TikTok via CNN, prompted considerable commentary from viewers. Many noted the stiffness of the embrace, with popular responses describing it as "the most uncomfortable hug" they'd witnessed. Others speculated that Jenner may not have immediately recognized the musician, particularly given his makeup styling at the event.

The encounter carries added context given Bad Bunny's romantic history with Kendall Jenner, Kris's daughter. The two dated until reports indicated their split in 2023, though reconciliation speculation surfaced the following year. The nature of their current relationship status remains unclear.

The brief red-carpet exchange generated significant discussion online, with fans and observers weighing in on the dynamics of the moment and what it might suggest about the relationships involved.
