Kyle Busch's Death Certificate Details Progression of Illness That Led to NASCAR Star's Passing

The NASCAR driver's death certificate has surfaced with specifics about the medical events surrounding his death on May 21 at age 41.

Busch passed away following a severe illness that began with bacterial pneumonia, which persisted for days or weeks before his condition rapidly deteriorated. The death certificate, obtained by Us Weekly, outlines a cascade of complications that ultimately proved fatal.

According to the documentation, pneumonia was the initial condition, which then advanced into sepsis—a development that occurred over approximately one day. From there, the sepsis triggered disseminated intravascular coagulation, a condition characterized by the formation of small clots throughout the bloodstream that obstruct blood flow to vital organs. This ultimately led to hemorrhagic shock, caused by severe internal or external blood loss.

Busch made a public appearance at a race just days before his passing and shared what would be his final Instagram post, a heartfelt message dedicated to his son.

The racing community and his family continue to receive condolences during this time of loss.
