Kyle Cooke Clears Up Confusion About 'Summer House' Future After Emotional Post

Kyle Cooke set off alarm bells among fans on Thursday, June 18, when the 43-year-old reality TV personality and DJ posted a reflective message on Instagram that appeared to signal his exit from 'Summer House' after a decade with the show.

Sharing photos taken in front of the Hamptons house used for filming, Cooke wrote about the emotional weight of wrapping production. "I can't tell how hard it was to muster up a smile in this photo with my producers. Per usual I was the last to leave the house when we wrapped because I lug so much gear out," he explained, before adding that this year felt different. "10 seasons in the books. A new show on the way. And a heartbreaking way to end one helluva run."

The star continued with raw emotion, saying: "I'm tearing up as I type this because we truly become a family shooting this show and it was a gut wrenching way to leave this house for good." He expressed gratitude to his castmates and crew for their summer commitment, then hinted at closure: "I think we can finally close this chapter (but don't blame me if I post some throwbacks that are a lot happier than me driving home all by myself as we filmed the cross over)."

The post concluded with thanks to the fanbase for their support over the years, fueling widespread speculation that Cooke was announcing his departure from the Bravo series.

However, Cooke quickly moved to quash the rumors. He edited his caption to add a clarification: "EDIT! End of Season 10 and a decade of filming this show as I know it. The show isn't cancelled and this is not me announcing I won't return. I was feeling emo and always planned sharing the cover photo because it DID feel like the end of an era, which is why everyone else was so emotional saying their goodbyes on the finale. Sorry everyone!"

As it stands, the network has not officially confirmed whether Cooke will return for season 11. What is known is that at least one cast member has already departed ahead of the upcoming season, which is slated to begin filming during 4th of July weekend.
