Kylie Jenner Named in Discrimination Lawsuit Filed by Former Housekeeper
The 28-year-old beauty entrepreneur is the subject of a new legal complaint brought by a former member of her household staff.
Angelica Vasquez, who worked as a housekeeper for Jenner, filed suit in Los Angeles last week. According to the filing, Vasquez began her employment at Jenner's Beverly Hills residence in September 2024 before being transferred to the Hidden Hills property one week later, where she worked alongside a woman named Elsi and head housekeeper Patsy.
Vasquez's complaint alleges that she encountered hostility and exclusion from her first day on the job. She contends that Patsy, Elsi, and other household staff subjected her to what she describes as severe and ongoing harassment, including being belittled and humiliated in front of colleagues. The lawsuit states these actions were motivated by her race, national origin, and religious background.
According to the filing, Vasquez is Salvadoran and Catholic. She claims she was told that "Catholics are horrible people" and was subjected to mocking and intimidation regarding her immigration status, with staff making comments about potential deportation.
Vasquez alleges that the workplace environment took a psychological toll, resulting in symptoms she associates with post-traumatic stress disorder. She ultimately left her position in August 2025 after her complaints went unresolved. Her lawsuit seeks compensation for unpaid wages, emotional distress damages, and punitive damages.
Sources close to Jenner's household characterized Vasquez as a junior housekeeping employee who had "attendance issues, among other workplace concerns."
While Jenner is listed as a defendant in the case, the allegations appear to center on actions taken by her household staff rather than direct involvement by Jenner herself, along with claims that management failed to address the concerns raised.
Jenner's representatives have been contacted for comment on the matter.
