Kylie Minogue's Netflix Documentary Drops May 20 With First Trailer Released

Netflix has fast-tracked the rollout of its Kylie Minogue documentary series, releasing the official trailer and premiere date just weeks after announcing the project.

The three-part series titled KYLIE will debut on May 20, offering an intimate look at the life and career of the Australian pop superstar. Netflix released the official trailer, key art, premiere date and first-look stills on Tuesday, May 5.

The documentary explores Minogue's evolution as one of pop music's most influential figures, chronicling her journey across multiple decades. Over the course of her career, she has sold more than 80 million records worldwide and continually reinvented her artistry.

KYLIE draws from Minogue's personal archives, including home movie footage and photographs spanning her lifetime. New interviews with the "Love at First Sight" artist form the centerpiece of the series, which examines both her public triumphs and private challenges. The documentary addresses how she has navigated public scrutiny, personal loss and health struggles with resilience.

Emmy and BAFTA Award-winning director Michael Harte helms the project, bringing his acclaimed work on films including Three Identical Strangers, Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie, and BECKHAM. Production comes from VENTURELAND, the award-winning company behind The Deepest Breath, WHAM!, and BECKHAM.

The series features conversations with those closest to Minogue, including her sister Dannii Minogue, actor and performer Jason Donovan, musician Nick Cave and music producer Pete Waterman. These insights provide perspective on the artistry, personal connections and infectious energy that have defined Minogue's career across generations.
