La La Anthony Takes the Met Gala Steps as Vogue Livestream Co-Host

La La Anthony made her entrance at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 4, for the 2026 Met Gala in New York City, stepping back onto the iconic red carpet stairs.
The 43-year-old television personality and actress turned heads in a chocolate-brown Wiederhoeft gown, accessorized with jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz.
Anthony is returning to her familiar position behind the camera this year, co-hosting the Vogue livestream alongside fellow personalities Ashley Graham and Cara Delevingne. Emma Chamberlain will join them as Red Carpet Correspondent, continuing her role from previous years. Throughout the evening, Anthony will be conducting interviews with arriving guests as they make their way down the red carpet.
This year's Met Gala centers on the Metropolitan Museum's Costume Art exhibition, which examines "the centrality of the dressed body" through representations of the human form drawn from the museum's collection. Attendees are expected to interpret the evening's dress code: "Fashion is Art."
The gala's co-chairs include Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and former Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. As always, the event draws hundreds of A-list celebrities, making it one of fashion's most anticipated evenings of the year.
