La La Anthony, Rutina Wesley, and More Added to 'Reasonable Doubt' Season 4

April 24, 2026

The ensemble of Reasonable Doubt continues to expand as the show gears up for its fourth season.

Five new faces have been tapped for recurring guest star roles in the upcoming installment. La La Anthony, Rutina Wesley, Taylor Polidore Williams, DeVaughn Nixon and Alexxis Lemire round out the growing cast.

Anthony will take on the role of Melina Cropper, Eric's first wife whose loyalty has its limits. Wesley steps into the character of Desiree Grant, an entertainment journalist unafraid to shine a light on the misdeeds of powerful figures. Williams portrays Brooke Cropper, Eric's second wife who mirrors her husband's calculating nature as she prepares for divorce proceedings. Nixon plays Tyger Cropper, Eric's younger brother and A&R manager at his record label, while Lemire has been cast as Layla Love, a recording artist signed to Eric's label.

Two additional castings have been elevated to series regular status. Meagan Good joins as Regina Harris, a newly appointed district attorney with both intelligence and compassion, while Durrell "Tank" Babbs takes on the role of Eric Cropper, a wealthy R&B artist and longtime client of the firm's lead character Jax. Eric is portrayed as charming and calculating, someone accustomed to getting what he wants regardless of the price.

The season four narrative finds Jax's family and fledgling law firm reeling after a vicious attack. As Jax's most devoted client becomes entangled in a media firestorm, The Stewart Firm faces mounting pressure in a battle where each decision could determine whether the firm survives or crumbles. With grief weighing heavy and stakes climbing higher, the central question becomes whether they can recover before moving forward costs them everything.

Returning to the series are core cast members Emayatzy Corinealdi, McKinley Freeman, Tim Jo and Angela Grovey, alongside recurring guest stars Morris Chestnut, Joseph Sikora and Brandee Evans.
