Lacey Chabert is stepping into new territory with her first series for Hallmark+. The actress, who has become synonymous with the network through starring in more than 40 films, is headlining Paris Is Always a Good Idea, and the first trailer has just landed.

The limited series adapts Jenn McKinlay's bestselling novel and spans six episodes that transport viewers across multiple European destinations. The story takes fans through France, Ireland, and Spain as it follows the romantic journey at its center.

Chabert plays Chelsea Martin, a nonprofit executive focused on her career who travels to Paris with a mission: landing a significant donor. Her plans shift when Jason Knightly, played by Scott Michael Foster from Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, joins her on the trip. What unfolds is an unexpected adventure prompted by a meaningful message from Chelsea's late mother and encouragement from her father and sister, sending her to reconnect with three former loves she left behind across Europe.

The supporting cast includes Rebecca Hanssen (The Witcher), Henry Czerny (Ready or Not), Barbara Niven (Chesapeake Shores), Stephen Hagan (Love of the Irish), Julien Marlon Samani (An Alpine Holiday), and Alejandro Albarracín (Dreams of Freedom).

The premiere launches on Thursday, July 30 on Hallmark+, with the first two episodes dropping simultaneously. New installments will roll out weekly every Thursday through August 27.

Michelle Vicary, Head of Programming at Hallmark Media, weighed in on the project: "With its rich characters, breathtaking locations and deeply emotional romance, Paris is Always a Good Idea is the beautiful, escapist journey we know Hallmark viewers will fall in love with this summer."
