Lady Gaga Brings 'MAYHEM Requiem' to Life at The Grove Premiere Event

Lady Gaga marked the debut of her new concert film MAYHEM Requiem with a star-studded event at The Grove in Los Angeles on Thursday evening, May 14.
The Grammy and Oscar-winning artist, 40, transformed the shopping destination into a celebration of her latest project, which serves as a filmed live performance of her studio album. The evening kicked off with a visit to the Apple Store before moving into a theatrical procession that made its way to the AMC movie theater for the premiere screening.
The procession brought together frequent collaborators from Gaga's dance team, including Ian McKenzie, Victor Rojas, and China Taylor. Chris Downey-Asher and SaraAnne Fahey choreographed the movements, while an eight-piece brass band provided the soundtrack—delivering New Orleans-inspired jazz arrangements of album tracks.
The concert film showcases Gaga performing selections from her latest album, including "Abracadabra" and "Disease," with performances arranged around piano and synthesizer. The production runs 67 minutes and is now available exclusively on Apple TV.
Two tracks from the concert, "Die With a Smile" and "Killah," have been released on YouTube for public viewing. Fans in 15 cities had the opportunity to catch the premiere screenings in AMC theaters at launch. The performance is also available as a Spatial Audio live album on Apple Music.
