Latto Welcomes First Child With 21 Savage

Latto is officially a mother. The 27-year-old artist, born Alyssa Michelle Stephens, welcomed her first baby on Monday, May 18, and revealed the identity of the father through a heartfelt Instagram announcement.

The "Big Energy" rapper confirmed that 21 Savage, the 33-year-old whose real name is Shéyaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is the father of her newborn. She shared the milestone by posting a video montage spanning her pregnancy journey, which featured moments with the fellow rapper and concluded with audio of her delivering the baby in a hospital setting, complete with encouragement from those present in the room.

The pair went public with their relationship in September 2025 after years of speculation. Though they have kept their romance largely private since confirming they were dating, their connection became harder to hide once Latto announced her pregnancy in March. She unveiled her baby bump as part of the promotional campaign for her Big Mama album, debuting it in the "Business & Personal" music video, which included subtle nods to 21 Savage's involvement—most notably a shot capturing his tattooed hand resting on her bare stomach.

For Latto, this marks her first venture into parenthood. 21 Savage, meanwhile, expands his family with this child, as he has three children from previous relationships.
