Lauren Bennett Dead at 37; Investigation Into Sudden Death Underway

Lauren Bennett, the singer who performed with girl group G.R.L. and was featured on LMFAO's hit "Party Rock Anthem," has died at age 37.
Bennett passed away on May 29 in Meopham, England, according to reports. Her death has been classified as sudden and is currently under investigation by the Kent and Medway Coroner Service. The inquiry into the cause of her death officially began on June 12 and is expected to continue through October 30, with the investigation potentially taking months to complete.
A private memorial service was held approximately 10 days ago in London, bringing together Bennett's family, close friends, former G.R.L. bandmates, and members of the group Paradiso Girls to honor her life.
G.R.L., the girl group Bennett was part of, disbanded in 2015. The group had previously experienced tragedy in 2014 when member Simone Battle died by suicide at age 25.
