The 39-year-old Broadway star got an unexpected gift during her Mother's Day performance at Chess. While taking her bows alongside co-stars Aaron Tveit and Nicholas Christopher on Sunday, May 10, Lea Michele's husband Zandy Reich orchestrated a special moment by bringing their children onto the stage.

In a video posted to TikTok, the Glee alum can be seen greeting her kids as they join her center stage. Their son Ever, 5, and daughter Emery, 1, made their way out while Michele was momentarily turned away, creating the full surprise effect.

"My husband brought our kids onto stage after our bows for Mother's Day! The sweetest surprise," Michele wrote in the video's text overlay, adding "Happy Mother's Day" in the caption. She quickly scooped up little Emery into her arms as the moment unfolded.

Michele had recently sat out several performances due to illness but received medical clearance to return to the production last week. Despite missing out on a Tony nomination for her role as Florence Vassy in the Broadway revival, the performer has remained engaged in supporting her nominated castmates.
