Léa Seydoux made her mark at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival on Friday evening with the premiere of her latest film, Gentle Monster, held at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, France.

The 40-year-old French actress graced the red carpet alongside her co-stars Jella Haase, Laurence Rupp, and Catherine Deneuve, as well as the film's director and writer Marie Kreutzer.

The ensemble psychological drama follows Lucy, a concert pianist who moves her family from the city to the countryside in an attempt to help her husband Philip recover from severe burnout. Their hopes for a fresh start are shattered when an unexpected early morning police visit disrupts their lives. Forced into isolation and desperate to shield her young son, Lucy finds herself caught in an impossible position between her love for her husband and the troubling questions surrounding his actions.

Also in attendance at the festival were Cara Delevingne, who turned heads in a Tom Ford by Haider Ackermann gown accessorized with HassanZadeh jewelry, and Jordan Firstman. Both are at Cannes promoting their film Club Kid.

Looking ahead, Seydoux is set to reprise her role in Dune: Part Three, scheduled for theatrical release on December 18, 2026.
