LeAnn Rimes Postpones Concerts Following Severe Illness

LeAnn Rimes is taking time to focus on her recovery.
The 49-year-old country music icon and Nashville: 9-1-1 actress revealed on Wednesday, April 29, via her Instagram Story that she would be rescheduling two upcoming performances due to a "severe illness."
"Due to severe illness, I am unable to travel & perform this week," Rimes shared with her followers. "I'm sorry to share that the upcoming shows in Spokane and Seattle will be rescheduled.. Also, good news as we will be seeing you very soon!"
The Grammy-winning artist had been scheduled to perform at the Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox in Spokane, Washington on Thursday, April 30, followed by a show at Benaroya Hall in Seattle, Washington on Friday, May 1. Both dates have now been pushed back.
Fans in Spokane will have the opportunity to see Rimes perform on Sunday, May 31, while Seattle concert-goers have been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 2.
"I am truly heartbroken to have to reschedule and I am so very grateful for your kindness and continued support as I recover," Rimes wrote. "I look forward to being back on stage and seeing you very soon."
