Lewis Pullman stepped onto the red carpet with his family in tow for the premiere of his latest project.

The 33-year-old actor brought his parents, Bill Pullman and Tamara Hurwitz, to celebrate the Thursday evening debut of his Netflix film Remarkably Bright Creatures at the Netflix Tudum Theater in Los Angeles on April 30.

The event drew an ensemble cast to the screening, with Sally Field, Beth Grant, and Kathy Baker joining the proceedings. Director Olivia Newman was also present for the occasion.

The film follows a widow employed at a local aquarium who discovers unexpected companionship through a Giant Pacific Octopus and a young drifter seeking connection. As their relationship develops, the trio unearths secrets that spark a transformative journey and rekindle their sense of wonder.

The octopus character, Marcellus, is brought to life through the voice work of Alfred Molina—a playful callback to his iconic portrayal of Doctor Octopus in the Spider-Man franchise.

Based on the debut novel by Shelby Van Pelt, the film adapts a book that has appeared multiple times on the New York Times hardcover fiction best-seller list. The original work earned the 2023 McLaughlin-Esstman-Stearns First Novel Prize from the Writer's Center.

Remarkably Bright Creatures will premiere globally on Netflix on May 8.

Pullman wore Saint Laurent for the evening.
