Lexi Minetree and June Diane Raphael Get to Work on 'Elle' Season 2 in Manhattan

Production is already underway on the next chapter of Amazon's new series. Lexi Minetree and June Diane Raphael were photographed on Monday, June 22, filming scenes in Uptown Manhattan, with the shoot appearing to take place near the NBC News building.

The pair weren't alone on set. Director and actress Shiri Appleby was present, helming the episode being shot that day.

Minetree, who portrays a younger iteration of Reese Witherspoon's iconic character, wore a signature pink outfit complete with a charming taxi cab-shaped purse. Raphael, cast as Elle's mother Eva Woods, opted for a more sophisticated look in a cream-colored coat paired with white pumps.

The greenlit second season comes before the show has even launched. The 'Legally Blonde' prequel, featuring an ensemble that includes Tom Everett Scott, Chandler Kinney, Jacob Moskovitz, Gabrielle Policano, and Zac Looker, is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on July 1.

Earlier this month, the original 'Legally Blonde' cast gathered to celebrate the 2001 film's 25th anniversary at an "Elle's World" pop-up event designed to build excitement for the series premiere.
