Li Jun Li and Elizabeth Lail Join 'The Night Agent' Season 4 with Two Other Major Additions

Netflix's hit thriller 'The Night Agent' is expanding its roster for season four with an exciting slate of new talent.

The Gabriel Basso-led series has tapped four actors to join as series regulars for the upcoming season. The additions include Li Jun Li, known for her role in 'Sinners,' and Elizabeth Lail, recognized from 'You.' Rounding out the quartet are Titus Welliver from 'Bosch' and Trevante Rhodes, who appeared in 'Moonlight.'

According to reports, the new characters are being brought in as the show makes a significant geographical shift. The action thriller will be leaving its New York setting behind and relocating to Los Angeles for the new season.

While specifics remain limited, the casting suggests Li will portray Dom's wife Min, Lail will take on the role of Zoe—Peter's former fiancée—Welliver will play special DOJ prosecutor Duval, and Rhodes is expected to be Dom, Peter's new partner in the field.

Showrunner Shawn Ryan previously hinted at this partnership expansion following season three's conclusion. "I don't want to say anything other than it's a new character that we've never met before," Ryan shared. Basso, the show's lead, expanded on the creative direction, suggesting the new dynamic would challenge his character's approach. "I think having a character that is Peter dialed to 100 would force Peter to go, whoa, I'm this, this is what it's like to work with me?" he explained.

Season three saw Peter Sutherland investigating a Treasury Agent who fled to Istanbul with classified government information, leading him down a rabbit hole involving dark money networks and dangerous assassins while working alongside a determined journalist to uncover conspiracies threatening the government itself.
