The 62-year-old Abbott Elementary star sat down recently to discuss her encounters with reality television, disclosing that she has fielded casting invitations for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on five separate occasions—all of which she declined.

During an interview with Betches, Walter was asked about her familiarity with the Real Housewives franchise. She admitted that while she hasn't actually watched any of the series in full, she has caught glimpses of iconic moments. "I saw a moment," she explained. "Did not see the episode, but I did see Teresa Giudice flip the table."

When producers approached her about joining the Beverly Hills cast multiple times, Walter politely but firmly declined each offer. Her reasoning centered on both personal values and practical considerations. "I don't like to promote women fighting with women," she stated, offering respect to Andy Cohen and the cast members who have built careers in the space.

Walter emphasized that the title itself didn't align with her life. "I'm not a housewife. I'm not a wife," she said. When producers pushed back, suggesting that conflict wasn't a requirement, she held her ground. "I don't have a house. I don't live in Beverly Hills, and I'm not a wife. The only thing I've got is real."

Despite her reservations about the franchise, Walter acknowledged her own reality television viewing habits without judgment. "I watch 90 Day Fiancé, so who am I to judge?" she noted with humor.

She ended the conversation on a lighthearted note, joking that a show centered entirely around her own residence might be her only condition for participation. "I should be on the show. You should do a Real Housewives of just my house. I would do the show if I'd never had to leave my house."
