Lisa Rinna Expresses Support for Spencer Pratt While Opposing His Mayoral Bid

Lisa Rinna finds herself in a delicate position: genuinely fond of Spencer Pratt, yet firmly opposed to his political ambitions.
The Real Housewives and The Traitors personality sat down with Variety to discuss the upcoming Los Angeles mayoral race, where Pratt is among the candidates vying for the top job. Despite her personal affection for the reality star, Rinna made her stance abundantly clear.
"Not a reality star," she said when asked who she wants to see win. "I love him, but we've already done that. We're not going to do that again."
Her comments appeared to reference The Apprentice star Donald Trump, who ascended to the presidency twice. Rinna acknowledged the apparent contradiction in her own position—she's built a career in reality television herself—but argued that's precisely why she knows better.
"Listen, I'm a reality person. You wouldn't want me as mayor, really. I mean, let's just face it, I love him. I think he's amazing. I just think we did that," she explained. "Let's have somebody that's already been mayor — the mayor of San Jose, or whoever."
When pressed about why so many Hollywood figures have thrown their support behind Pratt, Rinna simply shrugged. "You got me," she responded.
Pratt's mayoral campaign has attracted considerable celebrity backing, with Trump himself endorsing the reality personality and describing him as a "big MAGA person." Despite the high-profile support, Rinna's perspective reflects broader concerns about whether entertainment industry figures belong in elected office.
